Urijah Faber will be defending his WEC Featherweight crown against Mike Brown on WEC 36, September 10th, 2008.
Urijah Faber successfully defending his title last time against Jens Pulver. We will see if he can defend again his title against Mike Brown this time.
After an impressive unanimous-decision victory over Jens Pulver in perhaps the biggest WEC event to date, featherweight champion Urijah Faber (21-1) will return to action and defend his belt Sept. 10 against Mike Brown (15-4). The WEC 36 bout, which is expected to take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Hollywood.
Brown is a well-versed submission fighter, winning nine of his 17 fights by submission. He will soon look to add Faber to the list but it will not be easy.
